A multi-front awareness campaign, designed and executed in conjunction with KCG, articulated Nike’s significant workplace reform, community investment and environmental advances affecting 550,000 workers worldwide.
Putting Nike’s unprecedented efforts in the spotlight, KCG’s campaign set the stage for a watershed legal case, Nike v. Kasky. Nike won initial proceedings in California Circuit Court with an appeal ultimately heard by the Supreme Court. Legal resolution was ultimately decided out of court. To this day, the legacies of Nike’s awareness campaign are found across product lines, from recycled materials to workplace protections, helping Nike maintain an unprecedented market dominance across the world.
