Liz Russell is a convener of people and ideas.
With over a decade of experience in the public sector, she is a skilled strategist when it comes to bringing stakeholders together and identifying where their needs intersect.
Liz began her career with a public affairs firm in Sacramento working with campaign clients for elections and initiatives at the local, state, and national levels. She then spent seven years in Washington DC working for nonprofit organizations in both professional and volunteer settings, helping them improve operations, educate constituents, and expand their targeted outreach through a variety of communication mediums and events.
Most recently, Liz was the outgoing Manager of Administration & Development of The Pathway Home when the tragic events of March 9, 2018 took place. In the months since, she has dipped her toes back into her community by supporting Napa Valley CanDo’s Give! Guide as a member of their all-volunteer team. With her, she brings her renewed “can-do” spirit to the plate for Kamer Consulting Group clients.
She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where she focused on political science, international relations, and communication. Liz earned her Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from the Public Policy Center at Georgetown University and, as a lifelong learner, continues to seek out professional coursework today.
While Liz considers herself a DC convert, she is forever a Californian and is happily raising her young twins with her husband in the beautiful Napa Valley – a place her family has called home for nearly 100 years.
